Lil Angels Child Care & Preschool has been serving families in Pendleton since 2000. What started as a small, caring environment has grown into a place where generations of families have trusted us with their children.
We’ve always believed that child care should feel personal, not just a place kids go during the day, but a place where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. That mindset is still at the heart of everything we do.

Owner & Lead Teacher

Hi, I’m Annemarie Kunkle, owner and head teacher at Lil Angels Childcare. For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving families here in Pendleton, creating a safe, nurturing space where children can learn, grow, and feel truly cared for. Watching generations of local families come through our doors has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I’m proud to continue supporting our community with the same love and dedication we started with.

Our Philosophy

We believe every child is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning or growth. Some kids are outgoing, some take a little more time, and both are exactly how they should be. Our role is to meet each child where they’re at, encourage their strengths, and help them build confidence in a way that feels natural, not forced.
